1.Content Filter – New to WordPress!
Develop a set of questions and answers that act as filters for your content or products. This goes beyond a typical quiz – it’s a wizard or assistant that helps users find the perfect match. Hide your advanced search behind a quiz format to engage users and guide them to the right content or products. Each answer corresponds to a filter, and the combined filters are used to perform the search query and find the best matches. You can also set up dependent questions that only appear based on previous answers. 2.Trivia Quiz
The most frequent quiz format allows you to assess your users’ understanding. Create questions with a right answer or a set of right answers, and provide feedback based on their score. You can attach content or product recommendations to each feedback you prepare. You can opt to show a random set of questions each time the quiz loads, enable multiple-choice questions, and display an explanation after the questions have been answered.
3.Personality Quiz
The most common and widely-shared type of quiz. Ask your users questions that will generate a profile based on their responses. You can link content or product recommendations to each profile or personality type. This is an excellent method to categorize your users according to their interests and personality. You can show more than one profile or personality at the end.
4.Count Quiz
The idea is straightforward, but it has significant potential. Ask your users one or more questions where there is no right or wrong answer. Instead, they can select as many options as apply to them, based on the question. For instance, you could ask them how many different types of food they’ve already tried from a list, or the number of places they’ve been. The user will receive feedback based on the number of options they select. You can link products or content suggestions to each piece of feedback created, or you can set up suggestions for each answer option and display them based on the answers the user chooses or doesn’t choose. 3 Layouts
PRESENTATION
This layout will function as a slideshow presentation, with each question accompanied by an image in the background. Only one question will be visible at a time. This setup is ideal if you want your users to focus solely on the quiz and enhance their engagement through captivating background visuals.
IMAGE GRID
The typical quiz format allows each query and response options to display visuals.
MINIMAL
If you prefer a more straightforward approach without relying on visuals, the Minimal layout might be a suitable option for you. This layout does not utilize images but still maintains a neat and appealing appearance.
Customize the layouts
Each layout has a set of options that you can change to make the quizzes fit your website better. You can customize the text labels of warnings and buttons and the visuals of the quiz:
- Edit the colours and fonts of each layout
- Edit the icons used for the answers checkboxes
- Add images and rich media to enhance your quizzes
- You can also add custom CSS and JS to your quiz, if you’re an experienced user and want to customize the quiz even further.
Content Suggestions made easy
The different types of quizzes will allow you to include suggestions based on different factors, but to set the suggestions you’ll always use the ‘Query Builder’ which will allow you to select which type of content to suggest, which hopefully will include everything from your website, from Pages, Blog Posts, Custom Post Type entries like Team Entries, Portfolio, Testimonials and even WooCommerce or Easy Digital Downloads products. You can then narrow down the content, filtering by any taxonomy like categories and tags, search for keywords or for WooCommerce Products, you can also filter by price, availability, among other parameters. You also have some simple layout rules on how the suggestions will display.
Social Sharing & Email Capture
Each quiz will include some simple marketing tools. You can enable social share links at the end of the quiz together with the results, to allow users to share their result. You can also lock the result behind an email capture form, so the users only see the quiz result once they entered their email.
