There are moments when we all desire to relive a comical Zoom call with friends, document remarkable gameplay on our mobile devices, or find a more straightforward method to guide a distant relative in using an application. Fortunately, there is a straightforward solution available that does not require the use of a third-party application, and we will demonstrate how to achieve this.
By following a few straightforward steps, you can utilize your built-in screen recorder to capture your screen and achieve high video quality. Here is the procedure to do so:
1.Open your Android Quick Settings.
To access your Quick Settings Panel, begin by swiping down from the top of your phone screen, ensuring that you pull the screen down completely. Continue swiping to the right until you locate the screen record icon. Please note that if your device is not running Android 11 or a later version, you may need to download a third-party screen recording application from the Google Play Store.
2.Tap The Screen Record Tile
If the screen recording tool is not visible after scrolling completely down and to the right, please tap on the pencil icon. This action will display all the quick settings available on your Android device. From there, choose the option for Screen Record.
3.Select Record Audio
Once you tap start on your screen recording tool, you can select Record audio and Show touches on screen.
4.Customise Sound Settings
To incorporate audio into your screen recording, you may select the Record Audio option. You can decide to capture audio from your device, your microphone, or a combination of both. This feature enables you to add commentary or record system sounds during your screen capture.
5.Tap Start
To initiate the recording process, please press the “Start” button. A countdown timer will appear, signaling the commencement of the recording. Once the countdown concludes, your Android device will begin to capture all content visible on the screen.
6.When Youre Done,Swipe Down and Tap Stop
To conclude the screen recording, swipe down from the upper section of your screen and select the Stop button found in the Quick Settings panel. This action will complete your recording and store it as a video file within the Movies folder of your Google Photos application on your device.
7.View Your Recording
Upon concluding the recording, a notification will appear indicating “Tap to view.” By tapping this notification, you will be able to access the saved screen recording. Alternatively, you may open your photo application and navigate to the Movies folder to locate the recording there.
8.Edit your Video
To modify your video, select the edit icon, which allows you to cut, crop, adjust colors, apply filters, or incorporate pen, text, or highlighter annotations. For length adjustments, simply drag the small white markers located at each end of the timeline to determine the video’s starting and ending points. This functionality is particularly useful for eliminating mistakes or creating seamless transitions when compiling a longer video from various clips. Additionally, you can select Export Frame to capture and send a still image of the opening frame of your edited video.
9.Save a Copy
After completing any required modifications, ensure to save a copy of your screen recording. You have the option to select the video format and quality prior to saving. At this point, you possess a high-quality recording of your Android screen, which can be shared with others or retained for future reference.
